Weight Exercises for Women And Health Advice

It is a widespread belief that weight exercises for women make them muscular and mannish; on the contrary weight training strengthens muscles and help in losing fat. Targeting a definite group of muscles with weight training would also give you the figure that you are looking for. The areas such as flabby arms and out of proportion thighs, of which women often complain about, could be easily targeted with specific arm and leg workout routine. Some women follow the

Weight Training Exercises for Women

Start with a 5 days a week workout program if you want to lose weight and get a perfect figure. Start the first day with exercises that stimulate your upper body muscles like shoulders, chest and triceps. Start the routine of weight exercises for women with:

* Decline Bench Press: Let your feet be firmly planted on the floor and lie down on a decline bench with dumbbells in both hands. Extend your arms fully and push the dumbbells straight up and get them back to chest level slowly. Perform at least 2 to 3 sets with repetitions. This is one of the best dumbbell exercises for upper body muscles.

* Over Head Press: Take the dumbbells in both hands and stand straight with your hip width apart and now push the weights over your head by extending your arms. Breathe out when you raise the dumbbells and breathe in when you bend your elbows and bring the weights down to ear level. Do 1 to 2 sets with repetition.

* Incline Bench Press: Take the dumbbells in both hands and rest your back properly on an incline bench. Now push the dumbbells up and away from your chest as you breathe out, expand your arms fully and then slowly breathe in and bring them back down. Do at least 2 to 3 sets with repetitions.
